The SSL VPN allows you to create an encrypted Virtual Private Network connection to a Virtual Local Area Network right at the datacenter by using software that installs easily onto your computer. No hardware is needed at your location! Setup and start using your own SSL VPN in less than 5 minutes!
This private routed network is comprised of Cisco 6500, 3500 and 2900 series switches and routers and has a dedicated gigabit network connection to the internet.
The SI Private Network utilizes IP addresses that are non-routable, or not accessible to people using publicly routed IP addresses unless accessed through a VPN. The major advantage of the SI Private Network is no one without access to it, either by being physically connected or by being connected via a VPN, can access the nodes on that network.

- Lock Down Your Server - Turn off your Public port during server setup, maintenance and security issues. This will prevent anyone on the internet from accessing your server and will only allow connections from the SI Private Network and SSL VPN.
- Secure Your Data - Turn off public access to your Database Server and only allow connections from your other servers on the SI Private Network and from your local computer using SSL VPN. Maximum Database Security!
